CBS is helping to restore the historic village of Kirn back to its former glory with the restoration and modernisation of this classic village cottage.

This 19th century cottage was a tad worn and outdated when the new owner bought it. As with so many other buildings in Argyll, these old cottages are cute on the outside, but usually tight, cramped, damp and dismal to live in. Cryans was contracted to change that and to turn it into a magical cottage that matches its magical locale.

This may be a standard Howdens kitchen, but detail such as the right tile, worktop and a sunken sink gives this kitchen a unique farmhouse feeling.
